Why watch it
In a quiet suburban home, 16-year-old Leah begrudgingly sits through another Passover Seder with her family, a ritual she barely tolerates. Her connection to Jewish traditions is weak at best, but when her father asks her to "open the front door" for Elijah the prophet, something inexplicable happens. Suddenly, the room around her vanishes, and Leah finds herself transported to the 1940s, standing in the middle of a brutal Nazi death camp. Stripped of her modern comforts and beliefs, she is forced to endure the unimaginable horrors of war, her only hope for survival lying in her ability to adapt to a world that no longer seems real.
