In Victorian London, a brilliant but obsessive scientist returns from Papua New Guinea carrying a mysterious bag of ancient bones. Driven by curiosity and ambition, he brings them home, unaware that the slightest contact with water awakens the flesh around them. What begins as a triumph of discovery quickly turns to terror, as a malevolent force rises from the bones to stalk his family and friends, threatening to unravel their very lives.
